A workflow can be enabled and utilized to facilitate access to and monitoring of Student Retention initiatives. Several key data entry pages have been added.
The basic workflow begins for all end users with correct Menu Access using the Student Info Menu -> General Info.
To run the basic foundation report, simply include one or more Filter Options, and execute the report.
Once the student list is narrowed sufficiently, several workflow options are enabled.
Workflow Options Include:
Drill-down on the Student ID number to review the student's current Academic History.
Drill-down on the green Registered button to see what courses the student is currently enrolled in for the selected academic Term. If the button is red, the student is not currently registered, however they are Eligible to Register.
Under the Request Help column header, there is a green + icon. Click the icon to begin the "Help Workflow". Tip: Right Click the icon and click "Open in New Tab" to keep your original page intact.
The link will open to the Student Follow-up Page, allowing users to enter Follow-up Tags, assign due dates, include comments, and assign the task to one or more Groups on campus. Once a workflow has been initiated, the green icon will turn red.
Under the Student Leaving column header, click the Edit Pencil to mark the student as "leaving" or "not returning". Clicking the Pencil will bring you directly to the Student Stop Outs data entry form for this student. If there is already a date in this field, you can click the date to review or edit the current Stop Out detail.
You can choose to send an Email to a single student using the Email icon on the student record, or you can send an email to all students on the list by clicking the global Email Control button on the bottom of the page.
