Version 4.8.03

updated Nation of Citizenship Code and Description columns have been added to the information that gets archived in the STUDENT_INFO archive table

updated The time ticketing registration group code has been added to the Student General Info report.  You can adjust whether new columns and/or filters are enabled via the Administration tab of the report.

updated When a group/shared Pinned Report is updated, all members of the group get an in FAST notification (bell icon on the top right toolbar) to let them know the report has been updated. When a report is updated several times, we will now only show the most recent notification.

Institutional Definitions have been moved out of the student application into the site administration tables to facilitate using this functionality within other applications in the future.  This should have no impact on current functionality.

A new report has been added under the Administration -> Information menu in each application to show the status of various FAST system jobs such as when the last time FAST synced training videos, synced customer support ticket information, the last time the Report Scheduler service executed, and other system jobs executed.

updated After clearing filter options, the red "* Required" label will appear under all filter controls that are mandatory.

updated Updated the communication centre so that when composing an email message, if the user accidentally clicks away from the email dialog, it will no longer disappear.

Version 4.8.02

FAST now supports a new Letter Generator template which allows users to create and edit their own PDF templates. When enabled, this feature appears next to the Export to PDF button in the bottom right corner of a report. This feature is in BETA previous in version 4.8.02 and it will be officially released as part of the Premium Maintenance package sometime this year. If you would like to preview this feature, please contact Millennium support to have it enabled.

updated The Metadata Lookup report has been modified to display the matching objet name that is displayed in the Query Builder --> Object List. For example, instead of showing an A_ or B_ table name, the Metadata Lookup report will display the corresponding SYNONYM name. Views or tables that don't have synonyms will continue to display the same way.

updated The sort order for custom reports are now based on the column order in the query rather than alphabetically.

updated The ability to edit Page Notes has been expanded from only Site Administrators to allow for control of access to this functionality.

updated There are several new snapshot reports available: basic student info, student account info, and schedule archival snapshots annually or monthly. Note that the new snapshot options are turned off by default. To enable them, go to Administration --> Archive Information --> Archive Tables.

Version 4.8.00

updated New fields for reporting where a student or applicant is from have been added to the Admissions, Student General Info, and Degrees Granted reports: Original City, Original State/Province, Original Zip/Postal Code, Original Nation, and Original County. In order for these new reporting fields to populate, you must either 1) Populate configuration setting 440 (and wait for the nightly refresh to finish) OR 2) Submit a customer support ticket to customersupport@mcsl.com outlining approach to determining where a student is from and the MCSL team will update your rules on your behalf.

A new Tuition and Fees report has been added to the Student Accounts menu that allows users to view tuition and fee setup rules. The option to run this report against live ERP data is available for users with the 'Student - Live Reporting' role.

updated Several new columns have been added to the Course Summary Report: Tuition Waiv Ind, Web Reg Ind, and Sched Status. These columns can be enabled via the Administration Tab of the report.

updated A new filter control has been added to the Admissions Report to find applicants with a specific admissions attribute code. These columns can be enabled via the Administration Tab of the report.

updated Previously, if any filter type was different on an underlying Pinned Report compared to when it was originally pinned, the system would discard any filter value and warn the user that the filter changed and the Pinned Report needed to be checked and updated. This process is now refined to be more selective. For example, if a multi-list filter changes to a multi-search filter, or if a multi-select filter has only one value saved and the filter changes to a single-select type, the system will not generate a warning or error.

updated Users now have the ability to set up Chart/SetID filter dependencies on Dashboards. For example, this might be done to limit GL codes, Fiscal Periods, etc. based on the selected Chart/SetID.

 Users can now routinely schedule communication events via the Communication Center using a template. Newly created logic allows for messages to be sent to new recipients who have not yet received a message using this template, or that still match the report criteria after a period of time since the last time they received the message.

 Users now have the ability to set up filter dependencies on Dashboards (i.e. pass a selected value from one filter control as an input to another filter control).

updated The following changes have been made to the Filter Options administration section of the page level Administration Tab: a) Moved the Edit Type column to the far left and renamed it to Edit; b) Made the Range column read only (it can be edited only via the Edit pop-up window now); c) Added the additional pop-up width field to edit pop-up dialog.
